No minerals - no scaling

All advantages of the Purotap system are obvious

With the Purotap refill cartridge Purotap 500 and Purotap 1000 for refilling heating water according to VDI 2035 Elysator fills a real gap in service. In contrast to the usual demineralization cartridges, the complete demineralization can be controlled through a specially designed and battery-powered measuring counter. The cartridge itself is made of environmentally friendly materials and can be regularly disposed in household waste. If you return the used cartridge, we can recycle these directly.

PUROTAP ® disposable / refilling cartridges

The manufacturers give out regulations and technical guidelines for handling to any modern heating system. Each of those guidelines recommends demineralizing the heating water. Behind this are many practical experiences that clearly demonstrate that even minor levels of hardness in the filling water damage sensitive equipment such as gas boilers, heat pumps and solar systems. Decisive for the extent of damage is, among other things, the amount of lime in the filling. In the case of a detached house with a heating system of 350 liters system water content, an average of 100g lime comes together. The larger the amount of the filling water, the greater the amount of containing lime. The exact amount will vary from region to region with the exact hardness of the tap water.

Counteract the usual corrosion

Equally damaging are salts in modern heating systems or heating up water in water treatment. As in closed heating systems actually no corrosion can occur, non-professionals are baffled with the question as to why did it come to serious damage due to corrosion. Benefiting from a high amount of salts in normal tap water, the formation of galvanic elements is promoted that ultimately cause this corrosion. But also in the unfiltered water containing chlorides, sulfates and nitrates have their share of such decay processes.

With Purotap and minor save in the long term

To counteract such processes permanently, to prolong the lifetime of an expensive and high-quality heating system, and to save you costly repairs the proven Purotap system offers an attractively priced solution.

PUROTAP ® 500

The disposable cartridge PUROTAP 500 is suitable for a system water content of up to 500 liters.

The Purotap cartridge filters the fill water from lime and aggressive substances in the water, such as sulfates, nitrates and chlorides. The device operates based on a mixed bed ion exchanger and supplies demineralized water in fully demineralized quality. This method adds no chemical additives to the water. The device works without external power supply and fulfills important guidelines such as VDI2035.

Connection: DN20 (¾ ") AG, flat sealed

Meets the following standards:

  • VDI 2035
  • SWKI BT 102-01
  • öNORM 5195-1

PUROTAP heating systems - filling system according to VDI guideline 2035. Most manufacturers of heat generators require a water filling according to VDI 2035. Only then, they also give guarantee on their heaters.

PUROTAP ® 1000

The disposable cartridge PUROTAP 1000 is suitable for a system water content of up to 1000 liters.

Thus, this new generation of cartridges of Elysators Purotap 500 and Purotap 1000 provides an inexpensive and simple alternative to permanent make-up stations and facilitates, which makes it significantly easier not only for craftsmen but also for homeowners. It is ideal for the service technician who has to top up small amounts again and again. So must not be purchased expensive filling stations or measuring computers for each customer service vehicle. Ditto, the end consumer can easily refill the heating system with demineralized water.

The additional support of heating water treatment of Elysator completes the program. Herewith the end user can take demineralized water for the household easily. It is suitable, for example, for the steam iron, to clean windows without water spots and for filling tanks, batteries or humidifiers.

Both versions of Purotap refills fulfil latest requirements and quality standards. Including the Association of German Engineers (VDI) standard norm 2035, which states: "With decreasing water salinity increasing amounts of oxygen can be tolerated. In the absence of ions that can take over the transport of electric current in the water, is the formation of galvanic cells, which may lead to localized corrosion, virtually impossible. (…) For initial filling larger water heating installations using demineralized water is recommended." However, the DIN 50930 of the German Institute for Standardization e. V. (DIN) paid full attention in developing the Purotap systems. According to this chloride and sulfate ions stimulate the anodic partial reaction of metal dissolution. By selective anion exchange the probability of local corrosion can be reduced.
